Saturday 31st May

Thank you to everyone who joined me yesterday evening in Mojito. I know everyone is feeling election campaign fatigue right now.

Today will be my busiest so far!

I will shortly be recording my forty-second clip with James Bentley for Island FM’s election project.

At 9:30, Andy Cameron et al will be bringing a non-alcoholic edition of their island pub tour to La Valette, hoping to engage with bathers. I will be joining them but remaining dry (unless it rains, of course!). That will be for about 2 hours.

Rob Curgenven has invited us all to Le Friquet Garden Centre for a family-friendly meet & greet from 1pm, potentially for four hours.

Finally, the first of three hustings for candidates who reside in St. Peter Port (plus special guest Aidan Matthews) will take place from 7pm in the St. Peter Port Constables’ Office in Lefebvre Street (opposite where the Apartment / Good Rebel and Red Onion / Koi Koi used to be – go through the arch roughly opposite Boots). This event will be moderated by Brigadier General and Dean of SPP Douzaine Barry Cash.

I hope to see you later!
