Yesterday evening’s hustings was intimate but enjoyable. Thank you for those who came out to support us and a huge thanks to Barry Cash for doing a sterling job adapting his moderation style on the fly to accommodate the intimacy of the event.
It was also good to see so many candidates and members of the public at the Friquet event. Felt like a much smaller Grammar Hall / Beau Sejour meet the candidates event. Think I managed to convert a few undecided voters and had very nice chats with three fellow candidates!
This afternoon, I’m off to the St. Peter Port Douzaine for our second instalment of hustings. Peter Ferbrache, John Gollop, Rosie Henderson, Munazza Malik, Jennifer Strachan, myself and special guest Adrian Matthews. Jon Ozanne has very kindly stepped in to moderate. Hope to see as many of you as possible. 2pm – 4pm.
