Saturday 14th June

It was nice weather for patrolling Town late morning / early afternoon today. Dry, gentle cool breeze, sun out, the streets busy. Spoke to a painter/decorator I know who filled me in on a few goings-on that make me want to join the Home Affairs Committee! Maybe we should be creating a new category of housing (work permit) and forbid guest workers from bringing their families unless they are key workers and plan to stay.

My troll on Facebook, who had only upped my visibility previously, decided to lay a desperate and cheap but deeply serious accusation against me today. It’s been reported to the police, Facebook and the election team but I’m not confident anything can be done because it’s obviously a fake profile.

I’m going to vote for my thirty tomorrow, hopefully at an off-peak time. I don’t want to intimidate voters by being there when they’re casting their vote.

Unless something dramatic or important happens, there will only be one more post from me until the exit poll is published.
